On July 1, 2026, Air Force Major Jason Paul Watson made history with the Removal Coalition, becoming the first active duty officer to call for the impeachment, conviction and removal of Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance. The dire state of our republic and his oath to the Constitution compelled him to carry out this singular act of patriotism. Currently he is gagged and detained by the Air Force, following his arrest for peacefully protesting on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.
Major Watson entrusted our founder to launch his mission, and put a 17-year military career on the line because he felt his “Impeach. Convict. Remove” demand could not wait. It is now up to all of us to continue this mission by putting unrelenting pressure on Congress to pursue impeachment — not after the midterms, NOW.

About the movement
Remove the Regime was launched by members of the Removal Coalition and its founder Jessica Denson. Our true grassroots coalition harnessed the power of top creators to summon the largest ever in-person lobby of Congress for impeachment at the first Remove the Regime on September 2, 2025.
The Removal Coalition sought to focus the energy of nationwide protests on the seat of power in Washington, D.C. with an explicit demand: ”Impeach. Convict. Remove.” On November 20-22, we made that vision a reality.
At Remove the Regime, Congressman Al Green made a commitment to file and force a vote on his second articles of impeachment before Christmas. As a direct result of our movement, there was a whopping 77% surge in support for impeachment when Rep. Green followed through with that vote in mid-December.
On the one year anniversary of Trump’s illegal presidency, we took Remove the Regime nationwide, partnering with Free Speech for People, Women’s March, 50501 and Citizens’ Impeachment for a “Walkout” / “Walk-in” to local congressional offices in every state demanding impeachment and removal.
On March 28, the Removal Coalition in partnership with Citizens’ Impeachment urged organizers around the country to give teeth to No Kings 3.0 by adopting “Impeach. Convict. Remove the Regime” as their explicit demand, and aiming that peaceful yet uncompromising pressure directly on members of Congress who fail to impeach now. Our anchor protests were held in Washington, DC, Detroit and Los Angeles.
This movement has been instrumental in mainstreaming the impeachment remedy, with a major tide turning in the chorus of calls for impeachment and removal. We must seize this momentum, reject gaslit calls for invocation of the 25th amendment from members of Congress, and demand that they end their complicity in the destruction of American democracy by forcing votes on articles of impeachment now!
